Well we were the first proper forum promotion forum , there has been a couple of people who have tried to copy us.

We got the domain through advanced hosting on freeforums.

lol, dan, alot of forum hosters have the same kind of templates.


Because people download the same template and they put them on there forums.

So i could use a myff forum and have a template then goto a ipb forum and have the same template.

I know hence why i haven't edited it back in. It did once point to my forum as i saw it just after efc2007 posted it.

If you look at my forum you will see both me and efc2007 are admins and own it which is why we both are here trying to promote our forum even though still no one is editing it in the first post again (hint hint dan).

To say that you're the very first website / forum that was called "Forum Promotion" is rediculas. No one can claim it nor prove it.

Having a promotion website / forum called "Forum Promotion" is commonly used by all and doesn't mean they copied you nor anyone else.

What we mean by original is we were the first out of ours and this one.  This site contains alot of stuff copied and pasted from mine and the banner code here is even ours.  When we promote on sites this site has been promoted on i always put original to seperate it from the other topic saying Forum Promotion too.  I got to the point where i was fed up with being accused of copying this site so by adding original and referring people to the start up date of my forum and this forum it helps people understand that my site was around first and this site did the copying.

My forum start up date was 07 Apr 2007... I will leave you to find the start up date for this one but it was atleast 6 months after mine.
